Dr. Fred G. Woods, D.C.

Olive Branch MS Back Doctor Fred WoodsDr. Woods was born in Jackson, Mississippi. He graduated high school for Forest High School in 1999, he was captain of the football team and power lifting team. After high school attended The University of Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Biology in Dec. 2004. He attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in April of 2008.

As an Doctor of Internal Health Specialist (I.H.S.), he specializes in Nutrition and Digestive Enzymes, Dr. Woods was honored to serve veterans as a Primary Care Physician on staff at the John Cockren VA Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. from 2007 to 2008.

Dr. Woods spent his first year as a Chiropractor visiting the best chiropractic corrective care offices in the country and won an internship treating patients with advanced scoliosis utilizing the Clear Institute of Scoliosis Correction Technique. Due to his time spent interning he now helps people go from pain to performance utilizing bracing, custom foot orthotics, full spine adjustments, and extremity adjustments. Dr. Woods is a decompression expert that is certified by the International Medical Advisory Board on Spinal Decompression (I.M.A.B.S.D.). This makes him the most qualified doctor in the Memphis area for disc conditions and spinal function. He provides specialized care for patients suffering from both cervical and lumbar disc problems and conditions. With the use of spinal decompression Dr. Woods is able to decrease the symptoms associated with disc degeneration and allow healing with routine chiropractic care and nutrition. He provides specialized care for patients suffering from both cervical and lumbar disc herniations, as well as spinal stenosis, neuropathy and degenerative changes to the disc and vertebrae, and spinal stenosis.

Dr. Woods is skilled in an array of adjustment techniques and has assisted patients from 1 day old to 97 years of age. He worked with the US Olympic teams in 2008 before they went to China. Dr. Woods was the team doctor for the River Kings professional hockey team from 2009 till 2018 when the team disbanded. He is very skilled when it comes to sports injuries and rehabilitation after an injury, he is a certified extremity specialist mainly correcting knees, feet, shoulders, and wrists. Dr. Woods also focuses on patients with whiplash and other injuries sustained in car accidents, MVAs, and Personal Injuries.
